My dream of living and painting by the ocean came true when I retired in 2014. Nature is my great love and the Sunshine Coast offers an ever changing landscape of colours and textures. Inspiration comes from daily strolls through our beautiful forests and living near the ocean. I am constantly awed by the brilliant textures of the new growth in spring, the vibrant colours of autumn and the beauty of the forests decay. And of course the sea offers its own magical splendor. I love the challenge of capturing the fluorescent arrays of our magnificent sunsets.
